The HEIC image converter converts Apple's HEIC/HEIF photos to universal JPG format. Since iOS 11, iPhones save photos as HEIC by default โ a format that offers better compression than JPG but is not supported by many Windows apps, Android devices, and web services.
Upload your HEIC files and convert iPhone images to JPEG instantly. The tool preserves image quality and EXIF metadata (date, location, camera settings). Batch convert multiple HEIC photos at once for quick processing.
HEIC uses HEVC video compression for still images, achieving smaller file sizes than JPG at similar quality. The converter decodes the HEIC data and re-encodes it as a standard JPG file that works everywhere.

FAQ
Since iOS 11, iPhones default to HEIC format because it produces smaller files than JPG while maintaining the same quality. You can change this in Settings โ Camera โ Formats.
There is minimal quality loss โ HEIC and JPG both use lossy compression. At the default quality setting, the difference is not visible.
